Homeowners who choose to sell their homes without the assistance of an agent to avoid paying an agent’s commission might want to reconsider and contact an agent to represent them in making the right decisions, saving time, less stress and putting more money in their hands.

 

 A FSBO is an acronym - For Sale by Owner. It is pronounced Fizz-bow. It means a home owner is selling without an agent. It doesn't mean they will discount the price by the amount of commission an agent would charge -- otherwise, they would hire an agent!

While it’s true that you can successfully sell your home on your own, you may find it to be a long, expensive, and stressful process without the help of a REALTOR®, were more than twice likely to be successful at selling a home than a FSBOs.

 

If a Seller doesn’t use a REALTOR® and finds a buyer is interested in their home and buyer is represented by a buyer agent and seller feels NO need to pay agent commission?  The commission falls on the buyer in many cases the buyer will find another home to save money on having to pay their buyer agent a commission that the seller should be paying.
