Establishing Credibility with Sellers and Buyer for more referrals
When we work with Sellers and Buyers for the first time we are establishing credibility by teaching them to trust our opinion when pricing and making offers. Without credibility we tend to feel out of control. If one of our loyal clients refers someone to us we already feel credible knowing our past client has built-up our reputation and we no longer feel like strangers. We have a much easier time building trust with our new prospect explaining the selling and buying process.

Definition of Credibility:
Traditionally, modern, credibility has two key components: trustworthiness and expertise, which both have objective and subjective components. Trustworthiness is based more on subjective factors, but can include objective measurements such as established reliability. Expertise can be similarly subjectively perceived, but also includes relatively objective characteristics of the source or message (e.g., credentials, certification or information quality). Secondary components of credibility include source dynamism (charisma) and physical attractiveness.
