Getting Healthy in the Rain Blog 2 of 3 ActiveRain Contest
On January 29th, 2013 Dr. Stacey Ann Baugh offered ActiveRain members a challenge “Get Healthy in the Rain” An ActiveRain Contest.
Members were to write their first blog on setting goals to become healthy and have it posted by February 4th, 2013 and began the journey to Get Healthy in the Rain.

This is my second follow up blog that is to be posted by March 4th, 2013 to update my accomplishments staying on track and keeping it healthy in the Rain.
As most of you know being a Real Estate professional or professional period can take up much of our time, drain our energy, and we forget to take care of our body, mind, and overall health. The old saying “a Positive mind is a Healthy Heart & Body”.
In November I stopped going to the gym and was fixated on social media especially ActiveRain and Google+ and gained a few pounds. I had stopped going to the gym my usual four to five times weekly.
I would like to say I have not missed my weekly schedule since this contest started. I’ve actually been going to Gold’s Gym five times weekly and spend approximately one hour to an hour/half. I haven’t lost any weight but I have lost the bad attitude and being a pessimist.
Eating healthy helps me stay focused; I have more energy and a better attitude. When the body and mind are in sink our hidden senses kick in and success shows its pretty face. I’ve been busier in the past few weeks and have more energy to follow up with buyers and sellers. I just picked up two new clients this week and I owe it to feeling better. Here in Texas it’s looking like spring with our wisteria, peach/apple trees blooming, and the sunshine gives me so much energy as well as staying healthy thanks to the Rain Contest.
