REALTORS® - Happy About New Improved Supra e-Key Lock boxes

Supra eKey Lock boxes offer more room for multiple keys, gate codes, offering Listing Agents to pick their own CBS codes and longer battery life. The new and improved lockboxes feature Bluetooth and Infrared Technology.

Throughout March, ABoR (Austin Board Of REALTORS ) will be swapping old lockboxes for these new iBox lockboxes. March 2 - 13.

eKEYs

The eKEY works directly with the SupraWEB app, which you can download from Google Play (Androids) or the App Store (iPhones). With the new iBox BT lockboxes, you will no longer be required to purchase a FOB to use as your eKEY – everything will work directly through your SupraWEB smartphone app, via Bluetooth.

ActiveKEYs

The ActiveKEYs will also still be available, but there are some changes you should be aware of:

  • The ActiveKEY is increasing in price from $90 to $126 (plus tax) per semi-annual billing. Click here to see pricing changes.

  • During your August/September 2015 MLS billing, all ActiveKEY users will be required to submit a $250.00 depositClick here to see the benefits of switching to an eKEY.

  • If you choose to continue using the ActiveKEY, ABOR highly recommend that you purchase semi-annual key insurance for $12 (plus tax). This insurance offers protection if your key is lost, stolen, or damaged. If ActiveKEYs without insurance are lost, stolen, or damaged, users will forfeit their deposit.

Homeowners can be assured their properties are secure with the new eKey lock boxes, agents are notified the minute someone enters the home, can retreieve feed-back and store multiple keys and access codes.
